World chess champion Vladimir Kramnik lost to chess-playing computer in a six-game battle in Bonn, Germany.
The match laster almost five hours and of the six games, computer won two and four ended in draws.
After the game, Mr Kramnik said he was “a bit disappointed” and needs more time to prepare he “still have a chance” in a rematch, that could be arranged in a year or two.
The 31-year-old Russian, who received $500,000 for playing the machine, could have walked away with double if he had been successful, reports BBC.
