Patriarch Alexy II, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, has criticized the Vatican’s attitude to Russia, informs Mosnews.
Alexy II accused the Vatican of "extremely unfriendly policy", as Catholic priests work to convert Orthodox believers to Catholicism and discriminate against the Orthodox in western Ukraine.
"I hope the Vatican will undertake concrete steps to change the situation for the better," Alexy II was quoted as saying.
