Ivan Mazour, 22, the Eton-educated son of a Russian oil billionaire, is sentenced to 6,5 years in prison, informs Mosnews.
Driving his Mitsubishi under the influence of drugs and alcohol, he lost control over his car, hit a lampost and careered into an oncoming BMW seriously injuring its six occupants in November 2005.
His passenger, 21-year-old Charlie Green was killed instantly. Mr Mazour had pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving at an earlier court appearance.
Ivan Mazour Jr., Cambridge University student, is the son of Ivan Mazour, an oil billionaire.
