Roman Abramovich - the next victim? · 2006-12-11 12:34
Mosnews reports, that after the murder of the former security agent Alexander Litvinenko, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich is afraid of being poisoned.
He only eats food prepared by his own chef, avoids outside catering and ordering in sushi bars.
A source close to Abramovich said: "Roman has decided not to eat anything that hasn't been prepared especially by his own personal chef. It is the only way to ensure everything he eats is safe. The fear that he could be next is enough for him to take every necessary precaution."
“He has a separate snack prepared by his chef. Even then he makes sure it has been tasted and declared safe by his ex-SAS team of bodyguards," – he added.
Mr Litvinenko is thought to have been poisoned with radioactive polonium-210 put in his meal or a cup of tea. Scotland Yard is treating his death as murder.
