Famous gymnast Alexei Nemov is proposed to participate in Samara Region Duma election campaign.
Four-time Olympic champion Mr Nemov grew up in Togliatti, Samara Region and is a hero to many people in his native town, who are proud of his career.
He is hoped to support interests of sportsmen in Samara Duma and promote healthy life style. Mr Nemov has alreadt expressed his interest in the proposals as “the fate of the region is of great importance” for him.
