Kommersant informs, Russian Standard Holding has bought www.vodka.com and www.vodka.ru domains.
The analysts say the company might have paid above $1 million for www.vodka.com to U.S. Nett Corp., the previous owner of www.vodka.com.
American site didn’t use to contain any information about vodka or other alcoholic drinks. With the new domain the Russian company plans the worldwide promotion of Russian Standard vodka.
Art. Lebedev Studio, who registered www.vodka.ru site in 1997, sold it to Russian Standard Holding, he didn't specify the exact budget of the deal.
Russian Standard Holding is controlled by Roustam Tariko, whose wealth is estimated at $1.9 billion by The Forbes.
