Russian president Vladimir Putin makes his first trip to Ukraine since the last visit two years ago, BBC informs. Mr Putin will hold talks with Ukraine’s President, Viktor Yushchenko, as well as Mr Yanukovych, pro-Russian Prime Minister.
Energy will be high on the agenda after Moscow cut off gas supplies to Ukraine in January 2006 in a dispute over prices.
