The European Hockey Champions Cupbetween the best clubs of six best countries in hockey rating was held in Saint Petersburg.
Silver Stone Trophey, the main prize of the tournament, will stay in Russia for another year following the victory of Russian champions Ak Bars Kazan in the final, RIA Novosti informed.
The team, representing the Russian republic of Tatarstan, beat Finland’s HPK Hameenlinna 6:0 in the final and won a 7 kg silver cup made by Italian designer.
12 000 visitors attended the final game.
