Russian beauty's apartment robbed · 2007-01-23 16:21
Former Miss Russia Victoria Lopyreva has announced that her apartment in Moscow was robbed on Monday.
The 23-year-old beauty queen said 2 million dollars in watches, along with 100,000 dollars in cash, were stolen over the weekend when the beauty queen was away from her apartment, MOSnews informed.
Police were investigating the crime, with a so-called ‘contract theft’ figuring among the preliminary versions. No suspects have been named yet.
"If that money is needed for an expensive operation, then I hope it'll help that person," Victoria Lopyreva told reporters. "But if it was theft with the intention of profiting, then these people should answer before the law."
