Man divorced his wife feeding him pumpkin stew · 2007-02-09 13:15
A Russian man has divorced his wife of 18 years after he learned the spouse fed him pumpkin stew which he thought was made of zucchini.
The hapless woman is Yeleda D., resident of the South Russian city of Voronezh. "The pumpkin harvest was very rich this year. I thought such wealth should not be wasted and made a stew which I fed to my husband," Yelena D. said. However, the woman did not tell her husband what the stew was made of and he thought the dish was made with zucchini until the wife decided to tell him the truth.
A scandal ensued and the man filed in for a divorce. "I cannot trust the woman who fed me pumpkins for half a year," the man claimed in court. The court fulfilled the claim, Mosnews informs.
