Thai police arrested suspect of Russian tourists murder · 2007-03-02 16:59
Thai police, who detained a suspect in murder of two Russian female tourists yesterday, are searching for a supposed contractor of the murder, Regnum agency informed.
According to the Nation newspaper, a Thai woman is supposed to get jealous of her Russian husband’s interest in one of the girls.
Bodies of two Russian female tourists, Tatiana Tsimfer, 30, and Liubov Svirkova, 25, were found at a hotel beach in Pattaya early in the morning on February 24.
Earlier, it was announced that a suspect was detained on the case: Thai police arrested local resident, Anuchit Lamlert, 24, who lives in Chonburi Porvince. According to the source, he already admitted the crime.
