Liz Hurley confesses to crying in the chapel during her wedding to Arun Nayar at Sudeley Castle chapel, Daily Mail reported.
She told how she cried both during the service and the couple’s first dance afterwards.
Hurley, 41, who is now in India with her husband, said: “I cried in the church, during Elton’s (John) speech and during our first dance. I’m afraid my stiff upper lip deserted me.”
Nayar, 42, said he had to choke back tears when he saw his bride in her white Versace gown and diamond tiara.
He said: “I have never seen anyone look so beautiful and I was so full of emotion that I had to struggle not to cry. I felt so full of love.”
Elton, who reportedly gave Liz away, serenaded the couple with a special version of Your Song.
Among the 250 guests at the blessing were Sir Elton John, supermodel Kate Moss, actress Kate Winslet and Patsy Kensit, who read from the Bible. Donatella Versace and former boyfriend Hugh Grant were reportedly not present.
Liz’s 4-year-old son Damian was the ring bearer.
According to Playfuls, the actress and her new husband entertained their guests with a homemade Bollywood-style movie showing how they met and fell in love.
Hurley and Nayar are holding six parties in five days in Mumbai and Rajasthan this week.
