Exactly one month after Anna Nicole Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Florida and later died at a nearby hospital, the cause of Anna Nicole Smith’s death is finally known.
However the cause of death will not be announced for another one to two weeks in order to give police investigators time to complete their investigation of Smith’s death, Actress Archives web site reported.
Last Wednesday, Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper per issued a death certificate for Anna Nicole Smith, though the document listed the cause of death as pending, as he was still waiting for test results at the time.
However, there has been no shortage of speculation about what killed Anna Nicole Smith. Rumors of pneumonia, lupus, drug use, methadone intake and a host of other theories have been proffered, though no confirmation has been reached about any of them.
Preliminary results from the autopsy showed that there were no signs of drugs in Anna Nicole Smith’s stomach, despite the fact they were found in her hotel room.
Anna Nicole Smith was laid to rest in the Bahamas on Friday, next to her deceased son Daniel.
