Halle Berry will never marry again · 2007-03-22 18:57

Halle BerryHalle Berry has been so disillusioned by her past marriages that she doesn't want to formalize love again, Playfuls reported, but she claims she would like children.

In her interview toPeople magazine she shared her present views on relationships, marriage and children.

"I will never, never get married again," Halle Berry said. "Actually it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper."

Halle has been married twice before, to Atlanta Braves player David Justice and to R&B singer Eric Benet. Both marriages ended in divorce.

"After my last relationship [with actor Michael Ealy] broke up I was feeling like, well, it wasn’t that I didn’t want to be in a relationship, it’s just that I thought it would be okay to be on my own," she said.

She then talks about her current relationship, with Canadian-born model Gabriel Aubry. He is nine years her junior. The two have been dating since 2006, after meeting at a Versace photo shoot.

"But he was disarmingly sweet and caring and different. In the past I’ve been attracted to big personalities. Gabriel was shy. He hardly talked to me at first."

While stating she's not willing to re-marry, Halle did confess: "I definitely want children. Very much."

The same about Pamela Anderson, who confessed in her online diary that she’d been through a “rough month” and that she intended to remain a single mom for the sake of her two sons.

ABC News quoted her as writing, “I’ve tried to remarry ??” move on ??” like any other single mom I’ve tried to create a healthy example for my kids always. That’s why I realized early on that we are better off on our own right now.”

She says she intends to “work on our friendship if nothing else with their father [Lee] who’s admittedly made mistakes but adores us.” Anderson, 39, divorced her second husband, Kid Rock, after a four-month marriage.
