Original Guitar Hero developer Harmonix has gone solo and teamed up with EA and MTV to develop a brand new music game dubbed Rock Band, that "takes the core premise of Guitar Hero and expands it tenfold".
Jason Booth, programmer on Rock Band, has now revealed that the awesome Guitar Hero II controller on 360 will be compatible with the new title, CVG Online reports.
"For some reason, IGN posted that Rock Band will not be compatible with Guitar Hero guitars. I thought I’d drop in and let you know that this is not correct," he told the game's official forum.
