Miss Scotland, Lois Anna Weatherup, was among the celebrities taking part in the Dressed to Kilt event.
Sir Sean Connery models a custom made tartan Mercedes-Benz. The actor is the honorary chairman of Dressed to Kilt.
The event celebrated the collaboration of classic Scottish fashion with modern design. It raised money for the Friends of Scotland Charity.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the Tartan Week festivities which centre on a replica Scottish village built inside New York’s Grand Central Terminal.
