The American director Bob Clark, 67, and his 22-year-old son Ariel were killed in an automobile accident, Playfuls informed.
It is reported, that the accident occurred late Tuesday evening on California’s famous Highway 1 and involved a front-on collision with a drunken driver.
The 24-year-old driver from the other vehicle was arrested.
Clark is known for his independent, low-budget movies as writer or director on such films as Christmas Story (1983,) horror films of the early ‘70s including Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things, his Sherlock Holmes film Murder By Decree and the 2006 Black Christmas.
He also produced the comedy series Porky’s.
