Howard K. Stern, who was Anna Nicole Smith’s companion, hired an Atlanta law firm to represent him as the executor of Smith’s estate and as an individual, Playfuls reported.
L. Lin Wood, of the law firm Powell Goldstein LLP, said in a statement Monday that his representation would focus “on those individuals and entities guilty of making false accusations of criminal conduct against him related to the tragic deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and her son, Daniel.”
Wood said he also would represent Stern regarding the possible theft of any property belonging to Smith, as well as “its unlawful use, sale or other misappropriation in the media.”
Besides being the executor for Smith’s estate, Stern, an attorney, claims to be the father of Smith’s baby girl, Dannielynn. Results of DNA tests on the baby are expected to be revealed Tuesday.
