Argentine former football star Diego Maradona has returned to hospital with abdominal pains, two days after he went home after a two-week stay.
The BBC said he was taken to a Buenos Aires hospital in the early hours, but that doctors say his life is not in danger.
He has been treated for acute toxic hepatitis related to alcohol abuse. Maradona’s doctor has said he will probably need treatment for alcoholism for the rest of his life.
Maradona, who led the Argentine team to victory in the 1986 World Cup, has battled cocaine addiction and obesity.
