Melanie Brown’s baby was forced to undergo a DNA test to determine the identity of the infant's father barely 10 days after her birth.
Ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown is said to be devastated that actor Eddie Murphy, the man she claims fathered Fortuna Daphne Bay, didn't get in touch with her after she gave birth.
“She is distraught that her baby has been subjected to the DNA-testing procedure. She can’t believe that it’s come to this and that Eddie hasn’t just admitted that the child is his,” the Mirror quoted the pal, as saying.
Melanie Brown has listed Eddie Murphey as the father on the infant's birth certificate, and hired an attorney to draw up legal papers demanding that Murphy give a DNA sample too.
She has also made a 250,000 pounds deal with a celebrity magazine to show of her baby to the world, insisting in it that Murphy is the father.
Mel B and Murphy started dating after they met at a party last year, but the romance ended a short time later when the actor told a Dutch TV network that he had split with the singer, and insisted that he was not the father of her future baby.
