The father and grandmother of Anna Nicole Smith's million-dollar baby, Dannielynn, meet to hammer out a custody arrangement in the hopes of avoiding another lengthy court battle.
The Supreme Court in the Bahamas failed to rule on who would raise the seven-month-old infant who stands to inherit a fortune.
DNA tests last week proved that celebrity photographer Larry Birkhead, Smith's former boyfriend, was Dannielynn's real father.
Mr Birkhead looked as if he had won the lottery when the results were revealed, finding he was 99.9999 per cent certain to be the infant's dad.
However, Smith's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, is now fighting to be a part of Dannielynn's life.
Ms Arthur's lawyer John O'Quinn said she would meet privately with Mr Birkhead, News.com.au reports.
"No lawyers, no press, nothing. They are going to figure out what they believe is in the best interest of this child and try to get it done," he said.
