te Doherty today signalled that fiancee Kate Moss had given him an ultimatum: “It’s the drugs or me.”
Pete Doherty appeared before a judge reviewing his court-ordered drugs treatment programme.
He told District Judge Jane McIvor: “The people I’m closest to have had enough. They’ve said it’s drugs or them.”
He told Thames Magistrates Court: “I’m quite keen to show a negative test as soon as possible, really.”
The judge told the Babyshambles frontman: “There’s no obligation for you to turn up to reviews. The fact you (have) shows cooperation.”
Doherty is “more than co-operating” in his struggle to beat his addiction to drugs, Daily Mail reported.
The singer said he is recording his new album next week. On his way out of court, Doherty posed and signed autographs for fans while eating a sausage roll.
