English pop & rap Lily Allen has canceled the American leg of her spring tour over her own concerns about the quality of the shows.
Allen wrote on her MySpace page that she has been “getting really drunk” recently and has become “so nervous about doing bad shows,” Playfuls informed.
“I am tired, but more than that I don’t think I have been giving my best performances recently,” wrote Allen.
There are about 10 canceled shows which will be rescheduled.
Her spokesman Murray Chalmers said she had been on the road for the past year and was desperate to get back into the studio. He said to Times Online: “She has been writing new material whilst on the road in the US and wants to capture these new songs in the studio.”
