Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary has given birth to a baby girl who becomes the third in line to the throne.
The girl is the second child of Crown Prince Frederik and his Australian-born wife. They already have an 18-month-old son, Prince Christian.
The baby princess, whose name is not yet known, weighs 3,350g and is 50cm in length.
Crown Prince Frederik, 39, met his future wife, the then Mary Donaldson, in a bar during the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Crown Princess Mary, 35, was born on the Australian island state of Tasmania.
The couple married in a lavish ceremony in Copenhagen in May 2004.
