Spice Girls reunite to christen Geri's daughter · 2007-04-24 15:50
The weekend christening of former “Ginger Spice” Geri Halliwell’s 11-month-old daughter drew three of her four ex-bandmates to Britain.
Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham stood as godmother for Bluebell Madonna.
Pregnant Emma “Baby Spice” Burton and Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm also visited the event.
Only Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, who lives in Los Angeles at the moment and just had her second baby, didn’t come.
Also apparently missing was Bluebell’s father, movie scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi.
Geri Halliwell, 34, wore a blue mini-dress and Bluebell was in a traditional white gown.
“It was good to see the girls back together and getting on so well,” guest Isabella Hervey told the Sun. “Geri looked stunning.”
More than 100 people attended the christening ceremony at the Parish Church of St. Michael in North London.
The 90-minute event included a dozen gospel singers.
