A new birth certificate has been issued for Dannielynn, the 7-month-old daughter of deceased model Anna Nicole Smith.
According to Access Hollywood on Friday the birth certificate lists the baby’s new name as Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead. The name change came at the request of photographer Larry Birkhead, who was pronounced the father after DNA testing.
Previously Dannielynn had the surname of Howard K Stern, Smith’s former lawyer and partner, who was listed as the father on the original birth certificate.
Also Friday, Anna Nicole’s estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, lost a last-ditch appeal to block Birkhead from leaving the Bahamas with Dannielynn.
