NASCAR, images.amazon.comCar racing fans will be able to pay their respects to former NASCAR leader Bill France Junior.

A public visitation and funeral to held Wednesday afternoon at Seabreeze United Church from 5:30 p-m to 9 p-m. A public funeral is planned Thursday at 1 pm at the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center in Daytona Beach.

A graveside service for family members only will follow the funeral, Sl.com informs.

In lieu of flowers, the France family has asked that donations be made to the NASCAR Foundation, the Halifax Medical Center Foundation/Betty Jane France Pediatric Center or another NASCAR-related charity of choice.

Diagnosed with cancer in 1999, France had been in poor health for much of the last decade. He died yesterday at his Daytona Beach home. He was 74.
