Roberts, "Nancy Drew" star, talks about her career · 2007-06-15 18:07
Emma Roberts is still in high school, but she's already an aspiring Hollywood veteran.
"Nancy Drew" star loves the catty catwalk show "America's Next Top Model" and had her recent Sweet 16 bash at a Sunset Boulevard hot spot where Lindsay Lohan has partied.
Emma made her big-screen debut at age 9 opposite Johnny Depp in Blow. For the past three years, she's been lovable guitar-strumming teen Addie Singer on the Nickelodeon hit Unfabulous.
Now, sporting the same star-worthy smile as her A-list aunt, Julia Roberts, and the same mischievous charm as her enigmatic-actor dad, Eric Roberts, Tinseltown's newest teen queen is opening her first film Friday, Nuston Chronicle informs.
The 16-year-old Roberts, who plays the unflappable girl detective Nancy Drew, has already perfected the it-girl look of the star-bound ingenue: long, flirty eyelashes, dangerously short mini-dress and sky-high leopard-print stilettos.
Roberts told The Associated Press that she is "doing a movie called Wild Child in England all summer". It's about a spoiled Malibu princess who gets shipped off to boarding school in England. Emma also said that she wants to do a thriller and some comedies. The star added that she wants "to do everything": to write, produce, direct.
Outside of Hollywood Roberts would love to go to college and to study photography.
