Paris Hilton: it will be an honor to do Larry King's show · 2007-06-25 15:32
Paris Hilton will tell the details of her 23-day jail stay in Los Angeles and explain how it changed her life on CNN's "Larry King Live."
"We do have Paris on Wednesday," said the show's spokeswoman, Bridget Leininger. "She'll do the whole hour."
CNN's announcement followed competition between ABC and NBC that ended Friday with both networks saying they were no longer interested. Both networks were embarrassed by reports that they were willing to pay the Hilton family for materials related to an interview, Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Also, both CNN and Hilton's spokesman, Michael Sitrick, said the heiress will not be compensated in any way for the interview,
Reality TV World informs.
"I am thrilled that Larry King has asked me to appear on his program to discuss my experience in jail, what I have learned, how I have grown and anything else he wants to talk about," Hilton said in a statement.
"Larry King is not only a world-renowned journalist, but a true American icon. It will be an honor to do his show."
