Nicole Richie's is pregnant with a child by Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, TMZ.com reported. The 25-year-old Richie has reportedly been dating Madden for more than six months.
Rumors of the pregnancy have circulated for several months ??“ spurred, no doubt, by Richie's noticeably swelled belly. Neither her nor Madden's representatives would confirm the news at press time.
There may be more good news for the expecting couple: the pregnancy comes on the heels of recent reports from In Touch Weekly that Madden and Richie are to wed this summer as well.
The adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, Nicole has been romantically linked to entrepreneur Brad Salyn and DJ AM, with whom she was previously engaged. Madden previously dated singer/actress Hilary Duff, MTV.com reported.
The condition may save Nicole Richie from jail, according to The West Australian.
Ritchie's legal troubles stem from a December incident during which she was busted driving the wrong way down an LA freeway. She proceeded to admit to the cops that she was on marijuana and Vicodin.
If found guilty, she would ordinarily get a minimum of five days ??“ and a maximum of up to 12 months ??“ in jail.
