Posh and David settle into Los Angeles life with a shopping spree.
What better way to get acquainted with your new hometown, than to drop a few thousand dollars in a shopping spree.
In what turned into a rather exhausting day out, the Beckhams, along with son Romeo, started off at pricey jewellers Gearys before moving on to Maxfield boutique, a favourite with celebrities such as the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley.
They finished their trip at department store Barneys, Daily Mail reports.
Victoria, dressed in tight dark denim jeans from her signature DVB range, teamed with a vest embroidered with a phrase popularised by pal Tom Cruise's film "Jerry McGuire" ??“ "Show me the money".
The couple stopped off at the designer store, described by one website as "a boutique for women who favour fashion forwardness over victimisation" and were helped to their car with bags of clothing.
Followed by the ever-present paparazzi, many who now exclusively cover the Beckham's comings and goings, David recently spoke of his fears the photographers will one day cause a deadly crash.
The 32-year-old spoke out after he and Victoria were treated to a lavish star-studded bash to welcome them to Los Angeles. The million-dollar party was organised by their movie star pals Tom Cruise and Will Smith, and featured 600 VIP guests.
But newly-signed LA Galaxy star Becks is worried that all the attention he has been attracting since his arrival in the States could end in tragedy.
He said: "It's definitely over the top here in LA. In London, if we'd go out to dinner, there would be four or five cars following us".
"The other night we had 47. No joke. I get nervous. They run red lights and you’re just waiting for accidents to happen."
LA insiders admit that the city's snappers are the most ferocious in the world and will literally fight for the right picture.
