Amy Winehouse will go up against Beverley Knight, Corinne Bailey Rae, Joss Stone and Jamelia for best UK female.

Speaking of her, Jamelia said: "I think it’s fantastic she has been nominated. I think she could have been nominated for a few years now. So yes, it’s about time and hopefully she’ll perform for us at the Mobos."

The 12th annual Mobo Awards will be broadcast on 21 September. Rapper Dizzee Rascal has also been nominated for four awards – best UK male, best hip hop act, best song and best video for Sirens, BBC reported.
