All-Russian motor race Stop AIDS! begins in Vladivostok, Russia's Far East.
The action is organized by the Russian Health and Social Development Ministry's federal service for supervision of consumers protection and welfare.
The rally will run through 15 Russian cities from Vladivostok to Moscow (Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Chita, Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Lipetsk) and will end on October 20.
Free-of-charge concerts with participation of famous Russian musicians will be held in every city. Roundtable discussions and trainings for students of colleges and higher schools on HIV/AIDS problems will be held.
The action's goal is to raise awareness about HIV-infection and preventive measures and provide free-of-charge consultations and testing for HIV, ITAR-Tass reported.
