Jennifer Love Hewitt's rep confirms that Hewitt, 28, and boyfriend, Scottish actor Ross McCall, 32, are engaged to be married.
"They got engaged last week," her rep tells exclusively *Usmagazine.com *. The couple is currently vacationing in Hawaii.
Us has learned that the antique engagement ring has been in Ross' family for over 100 years.
Hewitt's rep had no details about the wedding date.
This will be the first marriage for both.
In April of this year, Hewitt told People, that the romance with McCall works because it's effortless.
"It's the first time I've ever been in a relationship where you don't have to try," she said. "And I think that's the answer. That's when you know that you're in something really good and healthy and right."
