Famous radio anchor who worked for Mayak radio Gennady Bachinsky was killed in a traffic accident on a motorway in the Tver region on Saturday.
The 36- year old journalist who was at the wheel of his Volkswagen moved into a lane for the oncoming traffic and collided with the Volkswagen-Transporter minibus. The journalist was killed on the spot.
Gennady Bachinsky, who had recently worked for Mayak radio, was an organizer of many radio programs and television shows. Last year Bachinsky won the "Radiomania" national award in the nomination "The Best morning show." The journalist had a wife and two children, ITAR-TASS reports.
