Russian singer Dima Bilan will participate in the Final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. After the first Semi-Final representatives of the ten qualifying countries gathered for the official winners press conference. All of them got the opportunity to answer two questions for the press.
Russia was the fifth country to answer the questions. Dima Bilan was asked what would be the next time he would take part in the Eurovision Song Contest. He replied that it was amazing to take part in the contest, the official site reports.
A journalist from Montenegro asked world famous figure-skater Evgenii Plushenko, who also represents Russia in the show, what it was like to be on stage at a song contest, and he confirmed that it was a totally new experience for him and that it was a great feeling. Russia was drawn 24th in the Final.
