Peter Crouch should have been preparing for a high-profile football tournament – but instead he was relaxing on the beach with girlfriend Abbey Clancy.
Crouch is one of the England footballers left with a lot of time on their hands, following the national team’s failure to qualify for Euro 2008 tournament, which starts this weekend.
But clearly in an attempt to forget what will go down in footballing history as England’s ‘annus horribilus’, he jetted off the Caribbean to enjoy some quality time with girlfriend Abbey.
Abbey and Peter enjoyed a smooch in the sea, and Crouch took it easy by the beach as Abbey massaged him with suntan lotion.
Crouch certainly doesn’t look as if he’s upset at missing one of the biggest dates in the footballing calender, and seemed more than happy to put his feet up on the sun lounger situated right on the beach, Daily Mail reports.
