Sienna Miller, 26, will play Maid Marian in Robin Hood film, which will be directed by Sir Ridley Scott.
The Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood are involved in a love triangle with Marian. Besides, the film casts the Sheriff as the hero and Robin as the villain.
Confirmed her new role in an interview with the BBC, Sienna Miller said, that ”it’s the most exciting news in the world.”
”I could not have a better part”, the actress added.
No date has been set for shooting to begin, Telegraph.co.uk reports.
