Jack Black, the comedy actor, who provides the voice of Po the panda in the animated adventure, arrived at the London premiere of Kung Fu Panda.
Hollywood star entertained fans with displays of kung fu, dragon dancing and contortionism on an oriental-adorned red carpet at Leicester Square last night.
But, as the actor said, he is not ”a violent person by nature.”
”The only time I’m really going to bust out the moves is for self-defense,” Jack Black said.
Lucy Liu and Dustin Hoffman, who also voice characters in the film, tried their hand at origami in front of reporters, and Angelina Jolie, who provides the voice of a tiger, was notably absent from the red carpet, Telegraph.co.uk reports.
”I’m sad that she’s not here because she always makes a splash when she shows up, but I’m glad because no one pays attention to me when she’s here. I become invisible,” Jack Black said.
Kung Fu Panda has been a hit in the US and Canada, taking $60m (£30.4m) at the box office in its opening weekend.
