Two people die in today's blast in Russian Sochi · 2008-07-02 19:51
A man and a 14-year-old adolescent died as a result of a blast in a high-rise apartment building in the city's Blinovo neighbourhood in Adler District on Wednesday, at about 05:00 Moscow time. The burst destroyed a stairway floor, a source in the city police department has told Itar-Tass.
All occupants of the building have been evacuated. An operational group of Sochi police and the city prosecutor's office are at work at the scene of the blast, the cause and power of which are being ascertained.
