Keith Urban joined pal Kenny Chesney for a hometown concert in Nashville Saturday, and hinted to the crowd of nearly 50,000 that he expects to be a dad soon – very, very soon.
“I’m going to dedicate a song to my very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!” Urban said with a laugh, before singing his hit, “Better Half.”
His real-life better half, Nicole Kidman, wasn’t far away, People reports. Kidman, dressed in a brown crinkled silk dress with her hair worn loose and curly, slipped backstage at Nashville’s LP Field just after Urban began his hour-long set.
“Well, we’re home, Nashville,” a buoyant Urban yelled to the screaming crowd during the concert, before wishing them a happy Fourth of July, telling them, “We were blowing things up last night!”
