Johnny Depp will return as Captain Jack Sparrow for a fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film.
The new "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie is one of three upcoming Depp-Disney projects. The actor is also slated to play Tonto in an adaptation of "The Lone Ranger", as well as the Mad Hatter in 3-D "Alice in Wonderland", due in 2010.
Since the first part of the "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" was released in 2003, the films have netted a combined $2.6 billion.
The second film in the series, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest", released in 2006, made $300 million in 16 days.
The title and release date for the fourth "Pirates" feature have not yet been determined, NY Daily News informs.
