Jessica Simpson spoke out for the very first time concerning the talks over her curvier figure while she was performing on-stage at the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena on Thursday night, January 29.
Not mentioning her weight gain jabs specifically, Jessica told the concertgoers, "I feel like in our world today we focus on so many things that are completely pointless."
She then added, "Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder. So just appreciate" as if she was speaking to herself. According to Aceshowbiz, at the end of her set, Jessica said, "Thank you for your support”, before then went on stating, “Stay positive, and pray out loud! I love you guys, good night."
