Prince Harry flies with Army Air Corps · 2009-02-19 13:37
Prince Harry has taken to the skies just weeks into his elite course to become a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps.
According to Hello, the royal looked relaxed as he prepared to fly a Slingsby Firefly at RAF Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire, first checking the light aircraft over with his instructor.
Though Prince flew the Slingsby during the assessment process for the programme, this was his first time in one during his training.
After the flight the 24-year-old probably compared notes with his brother. In early January, William flew his first training session at RAF Cranwell, during his training to become a search and rescue pilot.
