A Thai newspaper published a photo that appears to be David Carradine hanging in his Bangkok hotel room.
The photo – which Thai police believe was taken by the forensics team, shows a naked body suspended from a bar in the closet, with his hands apparently bound together above his head. Tattoos on the lower half of his nude body can be seen.
Carradine, 72, was in Bangkok making a film at the time of his death. His death was initially ruled a suicide but investigators now believe he may have accidentally died while engaging in a sex act known as auto-erotic asphyxiation as a rope was also wrapped around his genitals, Celebglitz reports.
In response to the image, Carradine’s brother Keith released a statement that says, “The family wants it understood that, per attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published.”_
Meanwhile, David Carradine’s ex-wife Marina Anderson said her four-year marriage to the actor was a “roller coaster.” Anderson is writing a book about her turbulent relationship with David.
She also acknowledged that statements to a Los Angeles court when she filed for divorce from the actor were true – that he engaged in deadly sex acts and incest throughout their marriage, ABC News informs.
