This Friday would be very popular in Russia among sweethearts. A great number of couples are going to get married this day because of beautiful date – 7.8.9 (August, the 7th, 2009). It’s also considered to make the newly-weds happy.
More then 1100 marriages are to take place only in Russian capital, Moscow.
Some couples had to get in line in order to marry months before the date, “Novie izvestiya” reports.
Meanwhile, if somebody would fail to get marry this day, there would be another beautiful and magic date very soon – 9.9 (September, the 9th).
But psychologists don’t recommend pairs to hurry in getting married “happy” day – this intention may reflects newly-weds negatively.
