Phil Spector, the legendary music producer and convicted murderer, may share a jail with the notorious double-parent murderer Erik Menendez.
The 69-year-old Spector is being relocated from the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility & State Prison in Corcoran to the Pleasant Valley State Prison in California this week.
Spectator, serving 19 years to life for the murder of B-movie star Lana Clarkson, requested the move after he claimed he feared for his life among the hardened criminals. He later recanted those remarks but was shipped out anyway, after officials decided the prison needed more 
space for inmates needing outpatient mental health treatment, E! Online reports.
Pleasant Valley State Prison is the home to Erik Menendez, serving life for killing his millionaire parents, Kitty and Jose Menendez. He was just 17 when he and his older brother Lyle shot their wealthy parents at point blank range at their Beverly Hills mansion. The brothers were not considered suspects and spent almost two years living a life of luxury on their inheritance. But after Erik confessed to his psychiatrist about the killings, the brothers were charged with murder in December 1992, First Post informs.
