Russian tycoon Mikhail Prokhorov in his blog in the Internet wrote that his group Onexim had gotten an offer to participate in building of a new stadium in Brooklyn (New York) and be a member in the shareholder's structure of New Jersey Nets basketball team. The team is moving to Brooklyn in two years and its' next name is Brooklyn Nets.
The oligarch adds that Onexim is interested in the project in order to use NBA technologies in Russian basketball development.
Mikhail Prokhorov marks some "quality factors" due to the deal: Russia will have an equal place in the top of the world basketball; Russia will have access to the whole modern NBA training technologies and opportunities to use them in the country; Russian coaches and sport managers will have on-the-job training in NBA, Russian students will train in the NBA sport camps.
