There is scandal in Russia around a person to bear the country's national flag at the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Vancouver this month.

Gennadiy Shvets, Russian Olympic Committee spokesman, made the scandal around the standard-bearer come to the end. "The name will be announced in Vancouver itself during the captains' council", he said.
