Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has been named Hollywood’s highest-paid female star in a poll compiled by US magazine Vanity Fair.
Watson, 19, who fronts high profile fashion campaigns, is said to have made more than $30m (£19) last year, BBC informs.
Vanity Fair calculated the stars’ earning power by interviewing agents, lawyers, studio executives, and occasionally the stars themselves, about film-related income (money made in television was excluded), Times Online reports.
Harry Potter’s Hermione, who came 14th in the overall list, beat actress Cameron Diaz, the only other woman in the top 20.
Watson’s Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint appear 6th and 15th respectively.
By the way, Radcliffe is the highest paid actor on Vanity Fair’s list, with the top five spots all occupied by directors.
